The totally prostrate habit combined with the texture and colour of the foliage are the outstanding features of this fantastic Western Australian plant. It is best used as a ground cover to spill over embankments or rockeries, or as a fabulous weeping standard grafted plant. While its the small red flowers are not a feature, they do attract various nectar feeding birds. New foliage features a beautiful bronze tinge. It is reasonably maintenance free, only requiring an occasional trim to remove any dead or dying growth. It does need a well drained soil and a sunny position for best performance. Tolerant of light frosts.
