Adenanthos obovatus

Hardy small shrub that is not only frost tolerant, but can also withstand bushfires due to its tough rootstock. Oval bright green leaves are complemented by striking orange-red flowers from late autumn to early summer. Can stand full or half sun and attracts birds. Will grow in sand, loam, gravel and coastal locations (South West WA).
