Anigozanthos manglesii

This perennial is the floral emblem of WA, one of the most recognised Kangaroo Paws and commonly found in the open forests and heaths of South Western Australia, (sometimes occurring as far north as shark bay). The red and green flowers occur in winter and spring, creating a spectacular display when planted in groups. Prefers sandy and gravelly soils and a sunny position. Feed and water regularly during flowering period. Cut back the flowers after flowering.
