Banksia gardneri

A fantastic and versatile groundcover with reddish brown to orange flowers appearing in autumn-spring. It’s dense habit makes it a good weed suppressor and stabiliser on embankments. Ideally requires well-drained soils but is also suitable for heavier soils such as clay and gravel. Grows both inland and in coastal prositions. Plant in a sunny to partly shaded position. Frost and drought tolerant.
