A shrubby WA Banksia with a spreading habit, in autumn and winter scented flowers ranging from yellow-orange-brown appear. This plant does well in coastal areas as it is salt tolerant and can withstand salt spray and strong winds, it also can be useful for reducing erosion. Frost and drought tolerant, it prefers a well-drained, sunny position but can adapt to heavier and poorer soils such as clay-loam.
