Beaufortia sparsa

Upright bush of fine, bright green foliage. Flame-red, brush shaped flowers form around the stems in autumn, bringing a welcome display of colour in a usually dormant season. Suited to free draining, sandy soils or potting media in full sun. Tolerant of wet sites as well as frosts. Attracts nectar feeding birds. An excellent cut flower.
