Brachychiton discolor


Large, bushy tree with a stout, grey trunk covered with decorative bark. Large, matt-green leaves have a felt like covering and fall from the tree before the summer display of pink, bell-shaped flowers that hang in clusters from branch ends. Enjoys a warm, sunny, moist and well-drained position. Prefers slightly acidic soils. Frost tolerant once established.
