Gastrolobium celsianum (previously known as Brachysema lanceolata)

CAUTION – POISONOUS: Gastrolobium species can be harmful if eaten by humans and non-native animals i.e. livestock, household pets etc. Safe for indigenous animals.

A perfect low-maintenance and very adaptable shrub with a naturally neat and compact habit, which makes for a good low screen or windbreak. It’s flowers are bee and bird attracting and are a stunning rich red colour. Plant in sun or semi-shade, tolerates some frost.
