Dodonaea boroniifolia

Naturally ocurring in the eastern states, this medium sized shrub is popular for its colourful fuits which develop into a deep red colour, and contrasts nicely against the attractive fern-like foliage. Thrives in full sun or part shade in well-drained soil. Will tolerate some frost. Prune after flowering to encourage denser and compact growth. Suitable as an informal hedge or as a screening plant.
