Banksia sessilis (was Dryandra)

This Banksia has prickly leaves and pale-yellow flowers which appear from winter to spring. Very bird attracting – parrots will eat the seed as well. Must be planted in well-drained soil and will tolerate drought and frost, likes alkaline soil.
