Eucalyptus cinerea

Attractive, evergreen tree with ornamental foliage. Young leaves are rounded and blue-green, while mature leaves are a similar colour but elongated. Bark is a stringy texture and fluffy flowers are white. Suited to most free-draining soils. Tolerant of dry periods, frost and very cold conditions. Can be pruned to encourage bushier foliage. Good shade tree for suburban gardens. Foliage is popular in arrangements.
