Eucalyptus grandis

A tall, fast growing tree with smooth bark but rough at the base. Widely used for timber for its strength and durability. White flowers appear from summer through to winter. Prefers plenty of moisture but will tolerate dry sites once established, can be found in coastal areas. Also used for honey production.
