A beautiful spreading mallee which produces the largest flowers of all Eucalypts, with dinstinctive silver grey leaves and white angular branches. From late winter to early spring, breathtakingly large red or pink flowers with luminous yellow antlers appear in masses. Commonly found from Geraldton to Kulin. Popular as a ‘street tree’ and specimen tree. Both foliage and flowers can be effectively used in flower arrangements. Prefers a full sun position in well drained soil, but can adapt to heavier soils (clay).
