Eucalyptus polyanthemos

Nice shady small to medium sized tree with a spreading crown and blue-grey ovate leaves. It features rough light brown to dark bark, which is frequently mottled in grey, cream and pink. Small white to pinkish flowers in spring and summer, which attract nectar feeding birds. Grows in a range of soils including poor, stony soil as long as it is well-drained, will not do well in water-logged sites. Ideal for roadsides, parks and gardens and is useful as a shelter or shade tree.
