Eucalyptus pyriformis

A small spreading, but relatively dense mallee growing 2-5 metres high and 2-4 metres wide, with eye-catching red or cream flowers within silvery caps, appearing in winter and spring. Similarly aesthetic, the smooth bark sheds in strips in summer/autumn, revealing beautiful shades of grey and pink. Happy to grow in light or heavier clay soils, this eucalypt is fast growing and will suit a sunny position.
