Eucalyptus rhodantha

Stunning red-pink flowers which are borne most of the year, and striking silver foliage make this mallee highly sought after. It has large, rounded, blue-grey leaves. The appearance is similar to Eucalyptus macrocarpa, but with a larger spread (3-6m). Prefers well drained soils (sand and loam) but can adapt to heavier mediums like clay-loam, and does best in full sun. Flowers, fruit and foliage are excellent in floral arrangements.
