Eucalyptus tetraptera

$2.00

An unusual eucalypt with pink/red flowers in spring and summer, followed by large, square-shaped gum nuts which attract a range of pollinators. Smooth, grey bark peels away over late summer and autumn to reveal a mottled under-layer. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Will tolerate poor sandy soil. Drought and frost tolerant once established. Can be coppiced to ground level to rejuvinate the plant.
