Hakea bucculenta

A great bird attracting, tall rounded shrub that often grows in thickets, with brilliant red flowers borne on long tapering axillary racemes in late winter/spring. One of the most ornamental hakeas prefering well drained soils and full sun. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
