Hakea multilineata

This tall shrub has thick, dark green foliage that is complemented by masses of bright pink flowers from winter to spring. Makes an attractive hedge and the flowers make a long lasting cut display. Prefers a full sun position but will tolerate some shade. Plant in well drained soil, will tolerate periods of drought once established. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
