Hakea scoparia

Stunning, rounded 3m high shrub with cream-pink pincushion, scented flowers in winter and spring. The flowers are followed by clusters of warty, ellipsoid fruits. Ideal as a screening or hedge plant. Very drought and frost tolerant, and will do best in full sun but can grow in part shade. Will grow in gravel, clay and sand-loam soils, prefers well-drained.
