$5.20
A popular climber widespread in cultivation throughout Australia. Lovely purple flowers appear in abundance in winter. Although fast-growing and with a wide spread, this climber isn’t too vigorous and won’t damage plants it may twine around. Adaptable to most soil types and prefers a sunny position, although will tolerate some shade and light frost. Showy pea-shaped flowers appear in large sprays from June through to early spring. Ideal for covering fences and walls, and as a scrambling groundcover beaneath taller trees and shrubs.
White flowering (Hardenbergia violacea Alba) and pink flowering forms (Hardenbergia violacea Rosea) are also grown and subject to availability.
