Leucadendron Jack Harre

A Salignum hybrid with compact growth forming an evergreen shrub. Provides visual interest during the winter months. A quick growing plant with blazing red flowers from late winter to early spring. Showy bracts present a colourful display year round. Prefers a sunny, open site in well drained soil. Tolerates frost and coastal conditions. Use acidic fertiliser to produce good colouring. Responds well to pruning and is ideal for garden beds and borders, and makes an excellent cut flower with a long vase life.
