Melaleuca quinquinervia

Fast growing small to medium tree with highly ornamental peeling papery cream-coloured bark. Mass display of fluffy cream, sometimes greenish flowers over an extended period. Suited to most soil types in sun or part shade. Tolerant of both dry soil and wet swampy sites. Sensitive to frosts. Good in coastal conditions.
