This attractive perennial has long, narrow, grassy foliage. Delicate, starry blue flowers are produced on long, thin stems from late winter to early spring. This plant is sturdy and resilient, tolerant of drought once established. It is ideally suited to an open, full sun to partly shaded position in well drained soil. Mulch the area of planting to conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds. Remove spent flowers.
