Xanthorrhoea preissii

Slow growing, long lived tree-like perennial with tufts of long narrow leaves arching from the twisted blackened trunk. Creamy flower spikes can reach up to 2.5m and appear almost year-round, once matured. Prefers full sun and is adaptable to most soil types, but must have well-drained soil, and can also be an interesting feature plant in a large pot or container.
